Headley Parish Council has existed since 1894. It meets at bi-monthly intervals and
organises an Annual Village Meeting. In between the formal meetings there is continual
contact between the Councillors to review planning applications, etc.
The mission of the Council is to represent the interests of the residents of the village as
a whole and to preserve the environment for the enjoyment of the villagers, visitors and
future generations. The main areas of activity are related to Planning, Footpaths, Highways
and Transport. The Council maintains a children’s playground in Broome Close.
The Parish Councillors would be pleased to hear from any villagers that have suggestions to
make to improve the village or that have concerns that they would like to air.
